2018 Antiques + Modernism Show Hosts Kick-Off Party at MAZE Home

Earlier this year, the Woman's Board of the Winnetka Community House hosted the kick-off party for the 2018 Antiques + Modernism Show (A+M) at MAZE Home. The public was invited to join the festivities and celebrate with an array of light bites and libations, all while viewing MAZE Home's fabulous selection of home décor and gifts.

"We were so excited to officially announce the launch of the 2018 A+M show," said Amy Capocchi, a member of the Winnetka Community House's Woman's Board and co-chair of the A+M kick-off party. "MAZE Home was the perfect place to gather in anticipation of this year's Antiques + Modernism event!"

The owner of MAZE Home, Cindy Bardes Galvin, welcomed guests to her store. A generous supporter of A+M, she offered to donate 10% of all sales during the kick-off event (and throughout the entire day) to the Winnetka Community House. Cindy is an interior designer, who also owns Bardes Interiors. Her collections range from lamps and tables to unique, high-end pieces from Paris and across the globe. There is something for everyone at this spectacular home design and gift destination!

Antiques + Modernism Winnetka is a fusion of the former Winnetka Antiques Show and the Modernism Show. Since the combined show's inception in 2009, esteemed dealers from across the country flock to Winnetka to showcase fine examples of American, European, and Asian antiques, as well as pieces from the Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Mid-Century design movements. Offering a wide variety of furniture, jewelry, garden antiques, rugs, fine art and more, A+M offers something for everyone's taste and budget. This year's A+M show will take place from Friday, November 2nd through Sunday, November 4th. The Preview Party takes place on Thursday, November 1st.

All proceeds from Antiques + Modernism Winnetka Show support the programs and services of the Winnetka Community House, a non-tax supported organization. The Winnetka Community House was placed on the National Registry of Historic Places in August 2007. The Woman's Board's mission is to provide financial and volunteer support for this important community institution.
